When Jane was five, her parents told her the book she'd
written, Padre the Mexican Mouse, was a literary
masterpiece. When she found out later that she'd named her
dashing young mouse hero "Father" and that rodents really
didn't have nationalities, she was crushed.
Later, Jane earned a B.A. in Journalism from the
University
of Oklahoma in the sequence of Professional Writing, but
several years passed before she pursued publication. About
that time, a friend handed her five romance novels from
her
keeper shelf, and a few days later after reading them all,
she was hooked!
In 1999, Jane was a finalist for Romance Writers of
America's Golden Heart Award, which led to her first sale
to Harlequin Duets. Several more sales followed shortly
after that, and now this award-winning author writes
single-
title contemporary romances for Ballantine/Ivy, as well as
series romance for Harlequin Temptation under the name
Jane
Sullivan. She lives in a the Dallas area with her husband,
her teenage daughter, and a beautiful but brainless cat
who
keeps her company while she's hard at work on her next
book.
