Marianne Mancusi loved writing and blending genres from an
early age, but against her high school English teacher's
advice, she went to college for television and film. She
ended up getting a job at Channel 7 News in Boston, where
she is now a producer, but she couldn't shake the writing
bug! In the summer of 2003, Marianne wrote A Connecticut
Fashionista in King Arthur's Court a novel that combined
her chick lit voice with her love for the King Arthur
legend. Fashionista sold to Dorchester in 2004, and
Marianne has since sold two more Chick Lit novels to
Dorchester, plus four YA books to Dorchester Smooch and
Berkley Jam. If writing and tv producing weren't enough to
keep Marianne busy, she also enjoys snowboarding, bar
hopping, shopping, traveling, and (her favorite guilty
pleasure) video games.
