Rebecca Goings dreamed of becoming a writer for most her
life. Bitten by the writing bug at the tender age of
seven, she went on to earn awards for her short stories
and poetry in high school. She took many creative writing
classes as a teen, and even scheduled a typing class to
learn the keyboard.
The idea for The Wolverine Chronicles first came to her as
a young teen, dreaming about a magical talisman and the
elves that protect it. After Rebecca married, these
cheesy little fantasy stories began to grow and evolve
until she decided to write it down on paper. These novels
no longer resemble anything in those first few stories,
aside from a few names of people and places borrowed here
and there.
Rebecca's first love is romance. She read her first
romance at age twelve and knew she was hooked. Now every
story she writes has an element of romance in them. She
firmly believes that everyone deserves their "happily ever
after."
Rebecca is happily married to her husband Jim and they
have four small children. They reside in the Pacific
Northwest with their two cats, their dog, and their
lizard. When asked how on Earth she accomplishes so much
writing, Rebecca simply answers, "I don't know".
