This battle is for queen and home, and the babies quickening in Cory's body are a symbol of hope. Cory's going to have to give up the idea of being a weapon and embrace the idea of being a mother, or she'll let down those depending on her most.

Amy Lane has two kids who are mostly grown, two kids who aren’t, three cats, and two Chi-who-whats at large. She lives in a crumbling crapmansion with most of the children and a bemused spouse.
