The Darkness Within
by Angelica Hart

In a secluded convent, the general mother instructs nuns to pray for the outcome of a terrorist bombing. A Gypsy attacks a private detective Brie Tyler to scare her off a case. Rescued by Jake Marlo, she teams up with him in hopes of recovering his missing niece along with a slew of runaway teens.

The incidents seem unrelated, but in the supernatural realm, demons gather. Evil breeds. A biblical battle threatens as darkness and good seek a final confrontation. The key to survival resides in Brie's obscure memories of distant events.

Even as unexpected love binds the the couple, mounting evidence reveals that nothing is a coincidence, and unknown powers have turned them into pawns. Love alone will not be enough to save them from a war spawned from...The Darkness Within.

Angelica Hart's Bio

With an appetite for genre crossing and new experiences, the author enjoys taking her reader on a unique journey with each new story. She relishes characters and universes that are as different from each other as snow and sand. In this vein, she is now working on dual thrillers as well as researching the sequel to the fantasy, Heart of the Myst. One day, she intends to settle on a single pseudonym. In the meantime, she hopes readers will follow her work for her unique style and special flavor rather than simply stick to a particular genre.

Angelica/Cynthia lives in Newark, Delaware with the love of her life and most ardent supporter, her husband of over twenty-five years, Tony. She also has a twenty-one year old daughter, Tara, attending William and Mary, and a church family that keeps her spirits soaring. Although once a computer programmer and technical writer for a religious order, she teaches home-schoolers both creative writing and art, but mostly devotes herself to writing.
