    The Prodigal Cousin
    by Anna Adams

Sam Lockwood is a single father who wants his children to know about family. For that reason he begins to search for the mother who gave him up at birth. He finds her, and is surprised to learn that she now has another child—one she chose through adoption.

Her daughter is Molly Calvert. Once known as the wild Calvert, Molly has settled down to become a respected teacher at the little elementary school in Bardill's Ridge.

Years ago, she put her family through too much, and she's not prepared to hurt them ever again. Which is why she has to ignore the feelings she's beginning to have for Sam—her mother's long-lost son.

    Anna Adams' Bio

Anna Adams grew up battling for place with four brothers and five male cousins. Her grandma, concerned when Anna built a treehouse that resembled a condo for a family of four, gave her the gift of Harlequin romance and told her young women (Anna was twelve and--please--no longer a "girl") could combine other, even more exciting adventures with her architectural accomplishments.

With wholehearted joy, Anna plunged into a world of strong women and loving men who knit their lives together no matter what obstacles stood between them. Now, Anna can't believe she's lucky enough to add her stories to the ones that came before her. She hopes to bring the same delight she's known to other readers. She just wishes she could share that cool reading spot, too.

Anna lives in Georgia with her jazz guitarist son, Colin, her swims-like-a-fish daughter, Sarah, and her hero of twenty-one years, Steve.
