Claire Cross' Bio

Although I've written historical romances for years as Claire Delacroix, I actually started out writing contemporary romances. Those early book manuscripts never sold: I was told repeatedly that they were too "edge-y". I like edge-y so was pretty excited to have the chance to play at Berkley. A friend of mine calls the Coxwells "the world's most dysfunctional family", which just might be true—they certainly are a complicated bunch. Maybe that was why I had so much fun engineering the healing of each one of the four siblings with the power of love. Claire Cross romances are romances, but they nudge a bit at the boundaries of the genre. If you're looking for something different—not your mother's romances—they might just be the thing for you.
