As the months go by and time runs out, she searches for the cure and doesn't dare hope she has found love as well.

Dominique Tomas has been writing since high school, taking many side trips into science fiction and fantasy as well as screenwriting, before landing in romance. "Some Assembly Required" has its roots in a story that Analog rejected quite a few years ago, but with all that experience since then and a healthy dash of romance thrown in, the story finally works!
