    Hot Spell
by Emma Holly, Lora Leigh, Shiloh Walker, Meljean Brook

Venture into a world beyond the ordinary, where the dark passions and voracious appetites of vampires, werewolves, demons, and a few undaunted mortals combine to unleash a potent spell.

Here are lovers like you've never dared to imagine: Eyes that glitter with keenness born of ancient knowledge. Hands that move with a tenderness belying superhuman strength. Inviting smiles that reveal exquisitely lethal fangs. Rippling, leonine muscles. There's danger in the air---and heat.

Steam rises up off the pages of these four scorching novellas, sensuously crafted by four acclaimed authors who beckon you to slip into the shadows and experience the otherworldly pleasures of the night...

In Emma Holly's The Countess's Dancing Boy, a lower-class demon and a lonely widowed countess share a week of unbridled passion that evolves into more than they anticipated.

Sparks fly in Lora Leigh's The Breed Next Door, when sexy Tarak claims Lyra as his lifemate.

The wolfking and a vampire's daughter find that not even the war between their clans can keep them away from each other in Shiloh Walker's The Blood Kiss.

A desperate lady is Meljean Brook's Falling for Anthony when a childhood friend comes back from the dead to protect her brother from an unnatural evil.

    Emma Holly's Bio

Okay. About me. Born in New Jersey. Grew up in Baltimore. Moved to the midwest when the city I was living in started to get too scruffy. Always wanted to be a writer. (Never mind my pre-pubescent fantasies about being Batman's girlfriend. I didn't imagine I'd get paid for that.)

I wrote for a long time before I sold. Not too long, I guess, since I didn't give up, but long enough to appreciate how amazing it is that so many of my dreams are coming true. (Yes, you too can become a published author!)

My first sale was MENAGE to Black Lace. I wrote five erotic novels for them, a novella for Secrets, then sold my first historical romance to Berkley Jove. Until I worked on BEYOND INNOCENCE, I had no idea research could be enjoyable. I mean, why don't they give the fun history books with the pretty pictures to kids in high school? I could be so much less ignorant if I'd had them.

But no matter. Being ignorant is a good excuse to by more books. And learning is a pleasure, especially when you can turn it into a story someone will love.
