Disillusioned, dumped and unemployed on his twenty-fifth birthday, Sam Wilson, a high school mythology teach and self-proclaimed loser, identifies with the attractive, desperate woman poised to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. He overcomes his own fear to save her just as she morphs into a shrieking demon out for Sam’s blood and tosses him from the bridge. Sam crashes into the frigid depths only to undergo what he believes is a near-death experience where he sees the world transformed if he was willing to help. Sam accepts the challenge in exchange for his life. With his assent, he is rescued by his guardian angel who entangles Sam in a dangerous quest where he must find and silence a demonic sound and bring exiled angels back to San Francisco before demons destroy the city and ultimately, mankind.

Kathleen Pickering is an award winning author of romance and women’s fiction whose goal as a writer is to inspire readers in every aspect of their lives. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers of America. She has held every Board position for Florida Romance Writer’s South Florida Chapter, except Treasurer—she knows her limits! Kathleen contributes her time assisting author colleagues with their conferences and workshops.

Kathleen has three grown sons and loves to travel for fun and on-site research for her novels. So, be careful. You may end up in one of her stories! This south Florida author loves to swim with dolphins, dances to any music that moves her, sings karaoke with her friends (not a good thing!) and escapes with her muse to enchanting places every chance she gets.
