Moira Tangaree runs from Malta, fleeing with only her life and her memories. She joins GWAR, a specialized agency inside Werewolf Affairs and accepts a life on the edge. Moving from pack to pack, catching the criminals that no other werewolf can apprehend, the emptiness inside her grows. She longs for a den, a werewolf who will love her and a place to call home.

Years have passed since the destruction of the Malta werewolves and Dante Aldo has kept his word to Bruno Tangaree, Moira's sire. Now it's time to collect his prize—Moira. She will be his mate, run by his side, honor and love him.

Dante now faces the biggest challenge of his life—convince Moira that she was meant to be his when she believes he's responsible for destroying everything, and everyone, she's ever loved. Her heart is closed, and it might take all the seduction he can master to open her to him, and to the rebirth of the Malta Werewolves.

Lorie O'Clare's Bio

All my life, I've wondered at how people fall into the routines of life. The paths we travel seemed to be well-trodden by society. We go to school, fall in love, find a line of work (and hope and pray it is one we like), have children and do our best to mold them into good people who will travel the same path. This is the path so commonly referred to as the "real world". The characters in my books are destined to stray down a different path other than the one society suggests. Each story leads the reader into a world altered slightly from the one they know. For me, this is what good fiction is about, an opportunity to escape from the daily grind and wander down someone else's path. Lorie O'Clare lives in Kansas with her three sons.
