He didn't look much like a detective....
Maybe it was the whole Southern comfort thingthe sinfully rich accent, that lazy smile, his heated touch, kindness that nearly disarmed her. But Robin Andrews knew better than to trust a man...especially this one. Did Detective Mitch Winton really have her best interest in mind? Or was he just toying with his prime suspect?
The cosmopolitan beauty hadn't killed anyone. Mitch would stake his badge on itand, in fact he did. Because he was going above and beyond the call of duty to figure out who had killed Robin's estranged husband and why the killer was suddenly after her. But it wasn't his badge he was worried about losing...It was his heart.
Lyn Stone signed her first contract with Harlequin Historicals on Valentine’s Day 1996. This year, she sold her sixteenth book.
Though Lyn studied and worked in the field of commercial and fine art for years, she discovered that her love for writing surpasses that of painting. She likes to travel and feels a special affinity for England and Scotland with their wonderful castles and intriguing history. Her novels of medieval and Victorian times are set there. The American South is her favorite setting for contemporary adventures.
She and her husband, Allen, both natives of Georgia, live in North Alabama. Lyn is a member of Romance Writers of America, Heart of Dixie and Southern Magic in Alabama, and Georgia Romance Writers.
Her next historical, MARRYING MISCHIEF, is a March, 2002 release. Lyn has written Silhouette Intimate Moments’ 9th book in the Romancing the Crown series, A ROYAL MURDER. It will be out in September 2002. She is also participating in the Harlequin Historical Christmas 2002 anthology, GIFTS FOR THE SEASON, which will be published in November of this year.
