    The Scot
    by Lyn Stone

She was a woman with ideas...and that was trouble! All the same, James Garrow found himself wildly attracted to Lady Susanna Childers. True, their wedded union arose from mutual need — with no mention of love. Yet the longer he knew his firebrand bride — the greater grew his desire...!

She was deep in the Highlands, a long way from London Society. Still, Susanna Childers vowed to make the best of the bargain she had struck with the enigmatic laird who was now her husband. Besides, he had saved her life once and would again, if need be. So love didn't matter — or did it?

    Lyn Stone's Bio

Lyn Stone signed her first contract with Harlequin Historicals on Valentine’s Day 1996. This year, she sold her sixteenth book.

Though Lyn studied and worked in the field of commercial and fine art for years, she discovered that her love for writing surpasses that of painting. She likes to travel and feels a special affinity for England and Scotland with their wonderful castles and intriguing history. Her novels of medieval and Victorian times are set there. The American South is her favorite setting for contemporary adventures.

She and her husband, Allen, both natives of Georgia, live in North Alabama. Lyn is a member of Romance Writers of America, Heart of Dixie and Southern Magic in Alabama, and Georgia Romance Writers.

Her next historical, MARRYING MISCHIEF, is a March, 2002 release. Lyn has written Silhouette Intimate Moments’ 9th book in the Romancing the Crown series, A ROYAL MURDER. It will be out in September 2002. She is also participating in the Harlequin Historical Christmas 2002 anthology, GIFTS FOR THE SEASON, which will be published in November of this year.
