Charlotte does not like Nathaniel Knightridge much. He is conceited and arrogant and he acts as if he knows her game better than she does. Nathaniel does not care for Charlotte either. Now they are sparring anew as they unravel a mystery, and discovering that in one way at least, they rub together very well indeed. It helps enormously that neither one can talk while they are kissing, of course.
