Cole Hunter had no memory of who he was or where he came from. Why did nothing or no one seem familiar — except Megan Wells? And why did memories of passionate nights in her arms flash through his mind at the sight of her?
Grieving widow Megan Wells didn't believe Cole could be her late husband, yet he seemed to know everything about their life together. Soon she couldn't deny the passion she felt in the stranger's arms...or the safety. Could this mystery man possibly be the man she'd loved and lost — and hoped to love again?
Rita Herron wrote her first novel when she was twelve, but didn't think "real" people became writers. Now she writes so she doesn't have to get a "real" job. A former kindergarten teacher, she loves romance, comedy and suspense and combines them to write romantic comedies for Dorchester, and family comedies and suspense for Harlequin.
Rita loves dancing, funky clothes, and Reese's peanut butter cups. She lives in Atlanta with her sexy husband who helps her with research (scientific ones for her suspense!); he also uses her books for doorstops when painting. She has a handsome son who has reads excerpts of her books at college parties for entertainment, and two beautiful daughters who thankfully got their athletic abilities from their father.
Other family members include an indentical twin (who counsels her through rejections), an avid romance reader mother (who helps her clean house so she can write faster) and a brother who is searching for a heroine of his own.
