Invited to spend the night in lush accommodations, passion flares between Savanna and Ben who have suppressed their hidden desires long enough. A single touch ignites an unforgettable night in each other's arms, but the next day, when La Mirage mysteriously disappears, they're left to wonder, is their newfound intimacy real or nothing more than a trick of the summer heat?

Fijian Fling by Sami Lee (originally published 06-29-2007 in e-book format)

Dumped by her boyfriend and on thin ice in her law career, Sophie Edison badly needs to re-evaluate her life. She escapes to her favorite hideaway on the tropical island of Fiji, where the attentions of the resort owner—the enigmatic and lethally sexy Dominick 'Nick' Dufour—prove a temptation too great to resist. Nick's obvious desire to take her to bed is just the salve her battered confidence needs, and she embarks on an affair that leads her to unchartered waters. Before long she starts to wonder if she can ever go back to her old life.

Nick has lusted after Sophie for years. When she turns up at his secluded resort alone for the first time he wastes no time in making her his lover. Sophie is his perfect match in bed, and in the ocean and the shower...but although he might long for something more, Nick knows theirs is just a holiday fling. For he is keeping the secret of his checkered past from Sophie and it could prove the ultimate deal breaker...

When he finds her dropped sarong, he realizes she's just given him the opportunity to find out...

    Sami Lee's Bio

From as far back as my kindergarten days my school report cards were riddled with comments on my proclivity for daydreaming. I was always getting caught staring out the window... or interrupted from important creative business as I saw it. Over the years that hasn't changed much. If anything it's gotten worse — the lot of a writer. I'm always being visited by my characters and they talk so loudly I have to write their stories.

My road to publication was long and winding. I've been writing off and on since high school but, as often happens, other duties called (like earning a living, what a drag) and for many years writing took a back seat. I wrote in dribs and drabs, and completed manuscripts were few and far between. That was until I had my first daughter in 2005 and I started a regular routine of writing during her nap times. I completed one manuscript that didn't quite make it before I revisited an old ms that I'd always liked (one of the few that did get finished!). That manuscript, originally called The Little Red Dress, became my first published novel, the re-titled Born Again Virgin. I still get comments on that title, which I thought of on the spur of the moment just before I submitted it to Samhain Publishing, with high hopes of grabbing an editor's attention :). Imagine my excitement when that editor wrote back in only two weeks to say she wanted to buy the story! Born Again Virgin was released as an e book in May 2007. Then along came a short story I wrote almost entirely for fun called Fijian Fling. And yes, the title does give away the plot :), and from all reports, it IS a fun read. In between those releases and my latest erotic novella, Chasing Sunset, I had another baby, learned to blog, advertise, edit, design bookmarks and a website... I've never been so busy as I have been since I first received that acceptance from Samhain. As for my next project? I have a new novel coming out, a follow up to Chasing Sunset entitled Sunset Knight. I can't wait for this one to be published. After that? It could be anything. I'll keep you posted right here...
