    THE MATCHMAKER'S MISTAKE

Mark McAlister is a professional man who's determined to find the kind of woman who can give his image a much-needed boost. Liz Prescott is a bartender who offers to help him become the kind of man who can attract a sharp, sophisticated woman. It isn't long, though, before this matchmaker falls into her own trap--the man she's created is the man she wants. But if Mark is looking for the perfect corporate wife, would he ever be happy with her?

    Jane Sullivan's Bio

When Jane was five, her parents told her the book she'd written, Padre the Mexican Mouse, was a literary masterpiece. When she found out later that she'd named her dashing young mouse hero "Father" and that rodents really didn't have nationalities, she was crushed.

Later, Jane earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma in the sequence of Professional Writing, but several years passed before she pursued publication. About that time, a friend handed her five romance novels from her keeper shelf, and a few days later after reading them all, she was hooked!

In 1999, Jane was a finalist for Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Award, which led to her first sale to Harlequin Duets. Several more sales followed shortly after that, and now this award-winning author writes single- title contemporary romances for Ballantine/Ivy, as well as series romance for Harlequin Temptation under the name Jane Sullivan. She lives in a the Dallas area with her husband, her teenage daughter, and a beautiful but brainless cat who keeps her company while she's hard at work on her next book.
